Jr. Field Technician
We are seeking a part-time Junior Field Technician to provide RF wireless engineering surveys for our clients and various office tasks. This includes a basic understanding of or a willing to learn: RF transmissions, mapping and surveying, configuration of access points, antennas and related equipment, cabling infrastructure to support WLAN systems, client wireless configurations, operations and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a drug screeing
- Must complete and pass two stage TB testing
- Must have a valid state driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Must have a clean driver’s record
Skills
- Possess a positive attitude, take initiative
- Ability to travel on short notice as well as for extended periods of time
- Ability to work and navigate a Windows 10 and Android OS devices
- Have a sense of urgency when completing various technical tasks
- Must demonstrate a strong technical acumen along with attention to detail
- Not afraid of heights
Experience
- Frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 60% of the time
- Working at various heights from a ladder
